How does medical marijuana work?
The key is a collection of more than 100 chemicals known as “cannabinoids.” Although each serves an important role in marijuana’s medicinal benefits, most people are familiar with the two main chemicals – cannabidiol (CBD) and delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). While some people benefit from the effects of CBD alone, the two chemicals have an additive effect when combined, enhancing their potency.
