Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) is a persistent mental health condition characterized by extreme fear, nervousness, and heightened self-awareness in social settings. It can disrupt daily life, making routine interactions, workplace performance, and social engagement challenging. Our clinical research aims to develop advanced treatment options for individuals struggling with SAD.

About the Study

Our Research Centers are actively recruiting adults aged 18 to 65 who have been diagnosed with or exhibit symptoms of Social Anxiety Disorder. Participants will receive clinical evaluations, access to an investigational medication, and study-related medical procedures—all at no cost. Eligible individuals may also be compensated for their time and travel. An initial screening call, free of obligation, will determine eligibility. For further details, please visit our contact page.

If social situations cause significant anxiety, distress, or avoidance in you or someone you know, participation in this study may be an option. Do you have a history of alcohol-use disorder or any other substance-use disorder within the last 12 months? *

Have you had a suicide attempt or suicidal ideation with intent in the past 12 months? *

Have you been diagnosed with unstable liver or biliary disease or cirrhosis? *

Do you have a family history of congenital long QT syndrome, Brugada syndrome, or unexplained sudden cardiac death? *

Have you taken benzodiazepines within 90 days prior to screening? *

Have you received psychotherapy for anxiety within the last 60 days? *

Do you have a history of treatment failure with two or more medications prescribed for SAD? *

Do you have any history of one or more of the following: Strokes, Cancer, Lap Band Surgery, Gastric Sleeve, Seizures? *

Have you taken psychotropic medications, including antidepressants, mood stabilizers, or stimulants, within 30 days prior to screening? *
